Accounting Assistant

This course will prepare students to work in the field of accounting. In this course, students will learn how to use QuickBooks Desktop & Online to perform various accounting functions, including creating a company file (set up a new company), create a: chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and fixed assets, payroll and creating financial report, send and receive invoices and more.

Along with QuickBooks Applications, participants will learn general Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Customer Service and Sales Credential Program and Virtual Meeting Platforms.

Upon completion of the course, each student will take a ten (10) hour Intuit prep course and take the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Examination and the Customer Service & Sales Certified Specialist Certification Exam

A hybrid Customer Service & Sales/Admin course that will give students the required skills to work in the areas of Customer Service, Sales, and Office Support.

Administrative Assistant - This course covers learning Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Virtual Meeting Platforms. As a part of the course, students will learn to prepare documents, proposals, and memos in Microsoft Word, learn how to create budgets and financial documents using Excel, learn how to create organizational charts and formulas in Microsoft Outlook. In PowerPoint, students will learn to create decks for presentations, create interactive slide shows, notes, and much more.

Upon completion of this course, each student will take a ten (10) hour Microsoft prep course and take the MO-100 Microsoft Certification and Customer Service & Sales Certified Specialist Certification Exams.

Legal Secretary, Customer Service & Sales with Virtual Meetings Platforms

Legal Secretaries/Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to attorneys and legal executives. The Legal course covers the advanced concepts and skills required to work in a legal support environment. Word training course includes a training module specific to the practice of law. Students will learn how to perform legal reviews, create citations and authorities, and use legal templates.

Using Microsoft Office, students will create PowerPoint presentations, schedule appointments via the Internet using Outlook, create expense reports, budgets and monthly reports using Excel, and create general and advanced legal documents using Word. Office and administrative tasks covered include phone etiquette, use of fax and copy machines, book binding, and calculator use. Students will learn how to write business letters and memos, as well as how to update social media sites like LinkedIn.

Upon completion of this course, each student will take a ten (10) hour Microsoft prep course and take the MO-100 Word and the Customer Service & Sales Certified Specialist Certification Exams. Additionally, students can choose to get certified MO-101 Word Expert, MO-400 Outlook.

Legal Worker Support (Document Specialist), Customer Service & Sales with Virtual Meetings Platforms

The Microsoft Word skills needed by a law firm are unique. This Microsoft Word training course includes a training module specific to the practice of law. Students will learn how to perform legal reviews, create citations and authorities, and use legal templates.

By taking this trio of Word training courses, (Word Associate, Word Expert & Word Legal) students will gain a strong skill set, enabling them to produce high quality legal documents processed in document production centers. In this course, students will learn how to create, and edit legal documents to the standards used by leading law firms and departments. Key skills include proper alignment of sophisticated documents, mail merge, business graphics and diagrams, on-line forms, tables, indices and creating TOA, TOC, and TOF, red/black lining, styles, pagination, compare, combine, and advance Word commands.

Upon completion of this course, each student will take a ten (10) hour Microsoft prep course and take the MO-100 Word, MO-101 and the Customer Service & Sales Certified Specialist Certification Exams.

Financial Worker Support, Customer Service & Sales with Virtual Meetings Platforms

Participants in this hands-on or virtual instructor-led course will learn how to create and edit advanced financial documents created in document production/word-processing centers in financial firms. This course covers the advance concepts and skills required to create, company annual reports, sophisticated charts, pitch books, decks, conversion documents and organizational charts used in Financial firms. Additionally, students will learn Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Word Associate & Expert.
